The synthesis of metal coordination complexes of non-innocent ligands aims to expand the reactivity profile of the metal. We have been interested in the preparation of Group 13 (Al, Ga, and In) coordination complexes implementing non-innocent ligands. We will present our newest results in this area and will specifically focus on the chemistry of aluminium, gallium, and indium complexes supporting nitroxide-based ligands. Full characterization (<sup>1</sup>H and <sup>13</sup>C NMR spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction, UV-vis spectroscopy, and DFT) data for the complexes will be presented along with a discussion of their redox properties and metal-ligand cooperative chemistries.
