With the use of hypothesis-driven high throughput experimentation,<sup>[1]</sup> our group is exploring how the scope of electrophilic and nucleophilic reaction partners can be expanded to include more oxygenated functionality. In this presentation, strategies to engage esters, aldehydes, and alcohols in Ni-catalyzed C-C and C-N bond forming reactions will be described.<sup>[2]</sup>
