The global legal cannabis industry has rapidly become a multi-billion dollar industry and while women hold only 26% of executive roles across all US businesses, they hold 36% of executive level roles, on average, in the cannabis industry, and that percentage goes as high as 60% in some segments.  This presentation will explore opportunities for women and scientists, the many challenges to be addressed, and the women who are shaping in this emerging industry through contributions in science, business, advocacy, policy, and/or legal means.
