The Journal of Chemical Education published 113 JCE Classroom Activities suitable for use in the classroom using mainly household items. Formerly a regular feature in JCE, these activities consisted of one page for the student doing the activity and one page for the teacher whose classroom is performing the activity. Many of these activities have been modified by teachers over the years and shared further in ChemEd X. We will highlight some of our favorites and allow you to try them out, too.
