An examination of S2O2 isomers on Venus’ atmosphere is being undertaken to determine the coloration of Venus’ transient stripes. Several S2O2 isomers were geometry optimized and then allowed to interact with up to four CO2 solvent molecules at the M062X/aug-cc-pVTZ level of theory. UV-Vis spectra were calculated to find the wavelength of maximum absorption and these were compared to experimental data from previous satellite missions.
