Nanoscale uranyl peroxide cage clusters self assemble in aqueous solution and provide excellent models for studying structure-size-property relationships in 5f element systems. This presentation summarizes ongoing studies of these nanomaterials in the Actinide Center of Excellence, with an emphasis on the novel aspects of these clusters and new experimental methodologies for their study.
