<br/>The multicomponent reaction of some 1N,3S-dinucleophiles generated <i>in situ</i> with 1,2-dielectrophiles afforded novel substituted thiazoles. The reaction was studied under various conditions. Under the optimum reactions conditions, the target thiazoles were isolated in very good yields. The products were purified by crystallization. All new products were characterized by various spectroscopic methods to confirm their identities. The efficiency of this protocol is highlighted by utilizing commercially available starting materials, short reaction times, room temperature reactions and simple purification of the products<br/>
