Organic molecules, particularly those that contain carbon-carbon π-bonds, are susceptible to photochemical oxidation. This has been an issue for all light-emitting and light-converting applications that employ organic materials in their active devices. In this talk, photochemical oxidation mechanisms and methods for reducing/eliminating the oxidation will be reviewed.  Our study of the effectiveness of enhancing photostability by lowering electronic energy of organic materials' frontier orbitals and the mechanism of remaining photooxidation process in these materials will be presented. A new approach that can dramatically lift photooxidation stability without altering materials' electronic structures will be introduced and the preliminary results of the new approach will be reported.<br/>
