The utility of early transition metal compounds to catalyze a wide range of organic reactions such as hydroaminations includes literature reports of titanium amidate compounds. Our inquiry into the development of titanium carbamate pre-catalyst analogs generated in-situ from tetrakis(dimethylamido)titanium for the hydroamination of alkynes and enynes will be presented.  Organometallic synthesis and catalysis studies used an inert atmosphere dry-box, catalysis runs were conducted in sealed NMR tubes with an internal standard, and the use of both multi-nuclear NMR and GC/MS established the percent conversions. The preliminary reactions used pre-catalysts generated in-situ from 2-oxazolidinone and 2-benzoxazolinone and we have begun an evaluation of homogeneous catalyst analogs for comparison.
