Particle-unstable states in 10C and 6Be were studied by inelastically exciting a 10C beam. The 10C states decay to the 2p+2alpha exit channel and from the correlations between the these fragments, it was possible to the identify the various decay paths creating this channel. We find a number of states which undergo either prompt and/or sequential two-proton decay to the ground state of 8Be and also strength for alpha decay to the 6Be ground state.  The correlations associated with prompt two-proton decay (three-body decay) of 10C and 6Be states are invesigated. A 10C state at 6.55 MeV was found to have a strong 'diproton decay' character. 6Be correlations are compared to a  three-body cluster model.
