Ionic liquids (ILs), also known as Room Temperature Molten Salts, have attracted more and more attention as media for chemical processes. However, a more detailed picture of the relationship between their ionic structure and dynamic properties is still needed. In this work,we will conduct molecular dynamics simulations of model IL systems and systematically explore how the distributions of charge and mass affect liquid dynamics. The translationaland librational motions of ions and their contributions to the collective dynamics of ionic liquids will be presented.
