Our chapter has successfully promoted awareness of chemistry on campus and in our community. We spend Saturdays at the local children's museum doing hands on activities, host ChemClubs students in our college's labs, promote the importance of �going green� to our fellow students, and hold Earth Day festivities. This year we are extending our outreach to a local elementary school with students from underprivileged and migrant homes. FSC students are assembling kits with hands-onactivities and filming instructional videos in English and Spanish to promote excitement for science. This poster will also highlight activities we conducted on campus to promote fun and creative means for students to broaden their knowledge of chemistry and socialize with one another by visiting science professionals in their work places, hosting speakers, providing and holding departmental picnics where students mingle with faculty, and making students aware of opportunities to develop leadership andresearch skills.
