Mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) comprising high loadings of the commercially available zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8), Basolite� Z1200, and a series of perfluorocyclobutyl (PFCB) polymers have been prepared for gas separation applications. The PFCB polymers include biphenyl-PFCB (BP-PFCB) and those with two phenyl groups bridged by -C(CF3)2-, -SO2-, or -C(CH3)2-).  Preliminary results for BP-PFCB show higher permeabilities for H2 and CO2 compared to Matrimid�. Gas permeability and selectivity of these MMM systems will be presented.
