We suggest nanostructured photocatalytic system in silver chloride/silver nanoparticles (AgCl/Ag-NPs) using dispersing agent and light irradiation. The size and photocatalytic activity of as-synthesized photocatalysts were modulated by controlling amount of dispersing agent. In particular, the introduced silver nanoparticles on silver chloride nanoparticles allowed enhanced adsorption for visible light, electron-hole separation, formation of chloride atoms, and excellent photocatalytic activity.
