In this presentation you will learn about the impact of volunteering your time and expertise with your local schools.  K-12 schools are in the business of educating our youth.  In today's world, they also have many other competing priorities such as achieving test scores, bullying, and obesity.  In such an environment, environmental health and safety issues may not receive all of the attention they need.  You can assist schools in creating healthier learning environments through your volunteer work.  A case study will be presented that will highlight the positive impact such assistance has on the school, teachers, and students.
