Sensitive Liquid Chromatographic methods have been utilized for quite some time to quantify Indolamine compounds with both Electrochemical Detection (Caliguri et al.) and Fluoresence Detection (Anderson et al.) in brain tissue as well as plasma and CSF. With newly developed stationary phases and column technology, it is now possible to gain sensitivity and speed concerning these separations, gaining higher sample throughput. Here, we explain our findings.
