A Cannon-Ubbelohde semi-micro-dilution viscometer in a Cannon thermostated water bath at 40�C was used to estimate solution viscosity of poly(3,5-dimethylphenylacrylate) in toluene. The intrinsic viscosity was estimated throughout the measurements of the flow time of pure solvent and solutions and then fitting the best straight line into the values of viscosity number and inherent viscosity based on Huggins, and Kraemer methods. The values of Huggins' constant estimated in this manner were ranging from 0.2 to 0.4 which are within expectations. The intrinsic viscosities and molecular weight relationship was established with the two parameter relationship of Staudinger-Mark-Houwink-Sakurada relationship. The values of Ka and a of the above relationship were 0.032 and 0.612 when the limiting viscosity values were expressed in unit of cm3g-1. The Stockmayer-Fixman relationship was applied to the molecular mass and limiting viscosity data to estimate the unperturbed dimension by the vale of Ka was fund to be 0.109 and the polymer solvent interaction parameters was estimated by the and the slope = 3.39E-5. Comparing to the results with molecular characteristics of the same polymer in toluene at 25�C, these values slightly were smaller.
