Since the 1960s, the role of technicians in the American Chemical Society has changed considerably.  I would like to take this opportunity to present you the history of the Applied Chemical Technology Professionals within ACS.  At one time, technicians were not able to be members of the Society; however, today they have the ability of being a full member of the Society.
