Science Sensations is an after school program organized by the University of Minnesota Morris ACS chapter and the community education program to stimulate local students' interest in science. The Science Sensations program promotes student interest in science by introducing it in an enjoyable way. The program consists of simple experiments that encourage student participation, followed by an explanation of the topic. Each program session consists of exciting experiments from the fields of biology, chemistry and physics. By increasing the University of Minnesota Chapter's involvement with local schools this program hopes to inspire students to pursue a field in science by providing them with a fun, educational experience.
