The purpose of this project is to analyze the quasi-adiabatic splitting and to try a new method of splitting the propagators involved in calculating correlation functions.  The new splitting method can be used calculate correlation functions for a model system, which has been previously studied.  This will tell us how accurate the new method is and how much computational cost is associated with it.  From there, the method can be applied to a system that mimics a chemically relevant environment, like that of an anharmonic oscillator coupled to a harmonic dissipative bath.
