The equivalent conductance at infinite dilution ?� is an important transport property that is directly related to the mobility of the ion in an electric field, as well as also being directly related to diffusion coefficients. Zimmerman and co-workers (1,2) have shown that ?� for sodium chloride can be represented to high temperatures and pressures as a simple function of solvent viscosity ? and solvent density ?, as long as the viscosity is greater than 0.00055 Poise.  This equation is ?�=b?(a-(c/?)) where a, b and c are parameters determined by least squares regression.  This equation reproduces data at temperatures up to 1073 K and pressures of up to 500 MPa within the assigned uncertainty.  In this work, this equation has been applied to other salts for which there are high temperature and pressure data.  These include LiCl, KCl, Li2SO4, Na2SO4, K2SO4, NaCH3COO, and CaCl2. By assuming that the transport number for chloride ion is accurately described by an empirical correlation given by Marshall (3), the same equation was then applied to ?�, the ionic equivalent conductance at infinite dilution, where ?� = ?�(+)+ ?�(-).
