In this work, organic-inorganic hybrid materials were designed by incorporating cyclic tetravinylsiloxanetetraols into a thiol-ene polymer network.  Our aim is to study the effect of the cyclic tetravinylsiloxanetetraols on the chemical and thermal properties of a thiol-ene network at various loading levels of the cyclic tetravinylsiloxanetetraols.  These materials are of interest for the development of new polymeric stone consolidants whereby the presence of the silanol functional groups is expected to improve interaction with the stone surface.
