The development of a versatile method to produce photocleavable block copolymers (BCPs) via �RAFT-Click� combination as a platform methodology is presented. The morphologies of thin films of the BCPs depend on the molecular weights of BCPs: perpendicular cylinders were obtained when then the molecular weights were high while parallel cylinders were obtained when the molecular weights were low under the same solvent annealing condition. The resulting photocleavable BCPs were then used to prepare highly ordered thin films. Following exposure to UV light and washing with water these materials are expected to lead to highly ordered nanoporous thin films.
