Neutron scattering techniques are ideally suited to studying the structure and dynamics of polymers and other soft matter systems.  In this presentation, we will discuss the instrumentation at the NIST Center for Neutron Research and relate how these measurement capabilities have recently been used to study a variety of soft matter systems.  We will conclude by describing the expansion of the NCNR which is now underway with particular emphasis on the new instruments that are being developed.
