Academic support that is available twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week and in any location would be ideal for our students.  Current tutoring services at our University are simply under-used.  Reasons for this under-use may be reflected in results from a Fall 2009 student survey at OLLU.  Compiled results of this survey reflect the absence of tutoring sessions that fit well with a student's work and school schedule and has been identified as a hurdle that prevents students from taking advantage of available tutoring.  Course-specific academic support available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and in any location may be an optimum solution.  It is with this motivation that academic podcasts were prepared of every General Chemistry class meeting during Fall 2011.  Results shared include podcast creation details along with student usage and student expectations of podcasting for this course.
