Transport properties of ionic liquids are important for their several applications.  The enhancement of the diffusion of ions in ionic liquids is essential for the applications to electrolytes for electronic devices.  Therefore the elucidation of the factors controlling the diffusion of ions in ionic liquids is an important issue for developing new ionic liquids for electrolytes.  Several factors affect the diffusion of ions in ionic liquids.  The size and shape of ions are important for the diffusion of ions.  Recent analysis of ionic liquids using computational methods shows that additional factors also play important roles in determining the diffusion.  I would like to show you that the magnitude of the attraction between the cation and anion and the conformational flexibility of ions are important for the diffusion of ions.
