Two technology transfer case studies will be examined related to seed expansion, where cell growth challenges led to real time manufacturing investigations.  Investigational results suggest that tight parameters maybe meaningless for seed expansion.  With the possibility of challenges in seed expansion, it is critical to know which parameters are actually important as you move your product into commercialization.
