The very limited number of uranium deposits was indentified in Korea and ores having the low grade uranium values. The present aim of the study is to establish the optimum conditions for uranium recovery from Korean domestic ore acid leach liquors without other impurities. This scientific investigations focused on uranium extraction by amine based extractants from sulphuric acid solutions were established. Amine based commercial extractants such as Alamine 336, Alamine 308, Alamine 304 and Aliquat 336 are water insoluble tri-octyl/decyl amine based extractants dissolved in kerosene. Various experimental parameters like effect of time, temperature, acid concentration, extractant influence on uranium extraction as well as loading capability of the above said extractants and back extraction of the U(VI) from loaded organic phase was studied. Finally, we applied the established experimental conditions for uranium extraction as well as vanadium separation from sulphate leach liquors
