Understanding the complex chemistry of environmental aerosols is a challenging task because no single method of analytical chemistry is capable of providing the full range of molecular to microscopic information. Application of complementary analytical methods of chemical analysis is necessary for comprehensive characterization of aerosol properties ranging from molecular composition of organic constituents to microscopy level details of individual particles.  This presentation will an overoverview of our recent field and laboratory studies with an overal goal to understand fundamental relationship between composition and chemistry of aerosols, and their environmental impacts.
