Low mass, to about 3,000 Da, MALDI MS were obtained for the products formed from the interfacial polycondensation of various organotin dihalides and histamine.  Ion fragments were largely formed from bond scission occurring at the organotin metal site.  Ion fragment clusters to six and seven units were found.  Tin isotopic abundance matches are reasonable and consistent with the presence of tin within the ion fragment clusters.
