Four 3,4-hexanedione thiosemicarbazone derivatives have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR. These substances were then reacted with Cu2+ and Ga3+ to form coordination complexes. These metal complexes in this study are proven to have anti-proliferative properties. This group of compounds could serve to be very useful in the biological and biomedical sciences.
