New palladium and platinum complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of the metal ethylenediamine complexes with a variety of pyridine based ligands, like 1,2-Di(4-pyridyl)ethylene and 4,4'-Bipyridyl.  These complexes have been structurally characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR and Mass Spectroscopy.
