The POGIL Project began in 2003 as a professional development project for faculty members at  the post-secondary level. Our goal was to disseminate the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) pedagogy through workshops and other venues. In addition, we established a professional development plan to grow the number of individuals in leadership positions within the organization in order to make it a vibrant and sustainable endeavor. This presentation will describe our original plans and the outcomes of those efforts over the intervening nine years.
