This presentation will detail our work in the area of metal-adeninate MOFs.  It will focus on new design strategies using metal-adeninate building blocks and how these building blocks can be used to create MOFs with large capacities for CO2 and large adsorption selectivities toward CO2.  Finally, particular focus will be given to the use of metal-adeninate clusters for designing and preparing ultraporous MOFs with unprecedented pore volumes and exclusive mesoporosity.
