 Palladium-catalyzed carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond forming reactions have received significant recent interest due to their importance in natural products and pharmaceuticals.  To make the reaction more efficient, a 1:1 palladium:ligand ratio is preferred so that oxidative addition may occur rapidly.  Recent advances to make these types of complexes have been shown throughout the literature in recent years.  Herein, we report the synthesis of (tBu2PNeophyl)Pd(allyl)Cl catalyst for their use in the Buchwald-Hartwig amination and other cross-coupling reactions.
