We have been studying heterometallic rings as possible components of supramolecular assemblies, because they are ideal model systems for studying magnetic phenomena and as possible �qubits� for quantum information processing. In this lecture recent results will be presented where we have learnt to link together rings, either rings of the same type or different rings, will be presented.
