Chelating NHC ligands are an interesting class of ligands. We report new complexes which are active in different homogenous catalyzed reactions like the methane activation, C-C coupling reactions or the hydrosilylation. Possible structural variations allow to customize the ligands for different transition metal catalyzed reactions. We will present new Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes and their activity .
