This talk will present our recent work on the study of colloidal nanocrystals in a fluid using the TEM.  We have studied the motion of nanocrystals, the trajectories for the growth of individual particles, and the formation of nanocrystal arrays as the liquid evaporates.  In each case, the ability to observe the behavior of single particles offers new physical insights.
