This year the Women Chemists Committee (WCC) is pleased to be celebrating 85 years as an integral part of the American Chemical Society. In 2006, the WCC added the goal to take an advocacy position within the ACS on issues of importance to women in the chemical sciences. This presentation will describe programs initiated by the committee to address important advocacy issues for women scientists.
