Rotavirus single chain antibodies were engineered and attached via a thiol exchange reaction to a dendritic molecular transporter. The molecular transpoter has shown previously a rapid uptake of monoclonal antibodies into infected cells and here we describe an advanced and more controlled preparation of the bioconjugate by utilizing single chain antibodies. We report on the internalization and preliminary data that show that the rotavirus antibody is transported efficiently into the infected cells to perform the neutralization of the virus.
