The effects of challenging primed T-cells with a liposomal MUC1 vaccine decorated with ligands specific for anti-L-Rhamnose antibodies in the presence of cognate antibodies was evaluated. Sets of five BALB/c mice were immunized with L-Rha-ovalbumin (L-Rha-OVA), a T-dependent antigen, and with L-Rha-Ficoll, a T-independent antigen, respectively. The antibodies were isolated and isotyped.  Sets of  BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice were primed with a TACA-modified MUC1 peptide. Seperately, dendritic cells were isolated from BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice and incubated with a liposomal MUC1 vaccine displaying L-Rhamnose, the different sets of anti-L-Rhamnose antibodies, and spleen cell isolated from the primed mice. The spleen cells from the BALB/c mice primed with TACA-modified MUC1 showed a 2-fold increase in the proliferation of T-cells in presence of anti-L-Rha antibodies, isolated from the L-Rha-Ficoll immunized mice over a range of 0.22 � 220 �g/mL antigen concentration.
