In this work we focus on the magnetic coordination polymer [CuF2(H2O)2(pyrazine)], which undergoes successive pressure-induced structural transitions, both of which involve re-orientations of the Jahn-Teller axes associated with the CuII ions [1,2]. Multihigh-frequency EPR measurements were carried out under high-pressures in a vector magnet system that enables polar mapping of the Land� g-tensor both below and above the first phase transition. EPR measurements yield direct information on the disposition of the magnetic dx2-y2orbital, thereby providing insights into the different nature of extended magnetic interactions in the ambient and high-pressure phases [2].This work was supported by the National Science Foundation (grant numbers DMR 0654118 and CHE 0924374) and the State of Florida.References: [1] Halder et al., Angew.
