Porous titania doped with ferrous and sulfate ion, was one-step synthesized via thermal hydrolysis of industrial titanyl sulfate solution by controlling the hydrolysis parametrs, then calcined at 500�C for different time. Crystallite size of porous titania was enhanced with the increase of calcining time, ranging from 11.24 nm to 18.76 nm. The as-prepared samples was with mesoporous anatase wall, and the sample calcined for 4h was with the biggest SBET of 198.4 m2/g. XPS patterns indicated that porous titania was doped with sulfur and iron, which enhanced its catalytic activity. The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) degradation rate of NO for porous titania increased first and then gradually deceased with the calcinations time increasing. SCR degradation temperature had great effects on the degradation rate of NO, the as-prepared sample showed good low-temperature catalytic activity, with degradation rate of 66.9% at 150 �C. Appropriate anatase crystallization degree, higher specific surface area and doping with quantum sufficit ferrous ion and sulfate ion were all benefit for improving its SCR activity for NO. The sample calcined at 500�C for 4h showed the highest SCR degradation rate for NO, with degradation rate of 98.2% catalytic degrading at 350�C.
