In an effort to increase student understanding of climate change and energy production technologies, a role-playing game was developed that puts groups of students in charge of a virtual country modeled after the energy demands of the United States.  Throughout the semester, groups explore various energy technologies and related scientific topics in a competitive effort to maximize energy production, minimize greenhouse gas emissions, and ensure long term energy security.  The details of the activity, relevance to a chemistry or general science course, and learning outcomes of the activity will be discussed.
