Searching for applicable hydrogen storage materials is impendent owing to the diversified merits of hydrogen energy on account of the challenges of sufficient and sustainable energy supply on demand. Based on the high hydrogen capacities, chemical hydrides such as ammonia borane, hydrous hydrazine and formic acid have been investigated as promising hydrogen storage materials.1-4 In this paper, recent research progresses in catalytic activation of hydrides for chemical hydrogen storage will be reported.5This author acknowledges financial support from METI.References 1.
