A simple method for preparing thermally stable and highly conductive hybrid films with good mechanical integrity based on reduced graphene oxide and single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNTs) is presented. With the aid of exfoliated a-zirconium phosphate nanoplatelets (ZrP), SWCNTs were exfoliated in aqueous solution and transferred into graphene oxide suspension to form stable hybrid aqueous dispersion.  Free-standing films were prepared by flow-directed assembly from the stable dispersion.  Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that thermal treatment of the cast films at 720 �C under argon atmosphere led to considerable removal of oxidized species and significant recovery of sp2 network structure on the graphene oxide sheets. Thermogravitational analysis demonstrates that introduction of inorganic ZrP nanoplatelets into the graphene based hybrid film significantly improves thermal stability.  The resulting hybrid film also exhibits good mechanical integrity and a high electrical conductivity of 60 S/cm.
