Solution properties of poly(glycerol adipate)-g-poly(e-caprolactone-b-ethylene oxide) are investigated. The polymers form spherical micelles of 20 nm diameter when micelles are prepared by dialysis. Stable worm-like aggregates are obtained instead when using  a cosolvent/evaporation method. Fluorescence images evidence that the worms are rigid with a contour length between 3 and 20 �m.   TEM images of negative stained samples reveal that the worms are composed of vesicle aggregates. Vigorous stirring during preparation is responsible for the formation of worm-like aggregates.
