Acyclic nucleoside phosphonate (ANPs) are known as an efficient class of drugs and among them, Cidofovir (Vistide�) is approved for the treatment of severe viral infections. Herein, we report a convenient preparation under mild conditions of bis(POM)-2'-hyroxymethylbut-2'-enylphosphonate nucleosides, involving chemoenzymatic route and microwave assisted synthesis.
