Electromotive force (emf) measurements of the physiological buffer TABS have been made in the temperature range of 5 to 55 �C.  The Harned galvanic cell of the type: Pt, H2 (g, 1 atm)|TABS (m1) + NaTABSate (m2) + NaCl (m3)|AgCl, Ag was used.   Four different TABS buffer solutions, yielding an ionic strength of I = 0.16 mol�kg-1, have been investigated at 5, 25, 37, and 55 �C.  The pH values at 25 and 37 �C in the physiological range will be discussed as pH reference standard buffers for use in biological study.
