This poster will focus on the development of oxidative methods to effect sp3-C�sp3-C bond-forming reactions at Pd centers. We have recently reported that the one-electron oxidation of dimethyl palladium species results in rapid and high yielding methyl-methyl coupling to yield ethane. Here we report that an analogous ethane-forming transformation can be achieved at a series of mono-methyl Pd complexes. This poster will present a detailed discussion of these results as well as mechanistic investigations of this new transformation.
